OV-1 MOHAWK ASSOCIATION
Dedicated to All Who Serve

What an amazing turn of events! Bullhead City, Arizona just put an OV-1C Mohawk that flew in Vietnam on static display at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Park! The Veterans Memorial Park is not far from where we live in Fort Mohave, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Imagine that a Mohawk, big as Dallas, right in our backyard.
I’m told between 450 and 500 people are expected to attend the dedication ceremonies November the 11th at 11AM and members of the OV-1 Mohawk Association are invited. Come be a part of the festivities. Yours truly has been asked to give a short presentation and in attendance will be our new Communications Director Dennis Crump and our very own Newsletter Editor in Chief, Sue Mach.
And for you American Legion members, American Legion Post #87 is just yards away from Veterans Park right on the Colorado River located at 2249 Clearwater Drive #B, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.
If you’re thinking about attending, Bullhead City sits across the Colorado River from Laughlin, Nevada where inexpensive rooms are available in one of several strip hotels making your trip even more fun. I recommend staying at The Aquarius and when making reservations be sure to ask for one of the newly refurbished rooms. https://aquariuscasinoresort.com/

We said a sad goodbye to Johnny H. Towler USArmyCPT(retired) on Tuesday March 25. Dementia won it's battle but he triumphed over it all. There will be visitation and a worship service at 1 pm on Tuesday March 4 at Meadows Funeral Home in Monroe GA. Military Honors will be provided by troops from Ft. Eisenhower at Graveside in the Towler Family Cemetery, Social Circle Ga. One more faithful Mohawker has soared off into the freedom of clouds and blue sky!
